the place is hideous. the neighborhood is horrible. the landlord is extremely sketchy. In the past few years, a woman was raped in an elevator, a man had a gun pulled on him,and some graffiti artists covered the other elevator in marker, the top floor caught on firee. The landlord takes forever to fix things, and has no real maintenence crew on staff. The only guarenteed, "safe" parking is a shabby gated parking lot he charges $50 a month for. The building leaks, is host to a slew of drug-dealers (some of which supply the landlord i've been told), ex-cons and drug addicts (as well as the usual, naive art students with nothing else to do with their money.) Bands practice, all times of the day/night, parties occur at least weekly, sometimes in the middle of the week! Anybody can get into the building that knows one of the questionble characters in it. Do yourself a favor and sleep on a druid hill park bench, at least its free.
