Run while still can!
Review Date: 5/8/2008 Reviewer: Anonymous
Well, let’s begin with the good things about the apartment: 1. space 2. low heating bill/ the place is so sealed up that I hardly ever turned my heat on 3. water included 4. low rent 5. friendly neighbors The bad things: 1. parking if you live in the back there is none 2. the hidden cost of having a dishwasher (there’s an additional cost they don’t tell you about until you sigh the lease) 3. water that can freeze or burn you in the shower at any minute 4. the maintenance staff (1 person) that lurks in his car 5. if it snows or ice, don’t expect them to shovel the side walks 6. the smoking in the building ( I never met people to lazy to walk outside) 7. the double plain window is really 2 windows (you have to open both just to get some air) 8. the “cleaned” apartment that I moved in (I ended up cleaning everything because there was dirt everywhere) 9. it took them over 2 weeks to fix the A/C (there would come and tell me that it was fixed and even when it wasn’t 10. the closet door I asked to be fixed and they told me that they have to “find” the parts (still not fixed) 11. it took them over a week to fix the bathroom floor and they left it dirty 12. called themselves “fixing” the leak that I report when I first got there (still leaks) 13. tried to come in my house without knocking, I was at home that day (never rung the bell) 14. called themselves “fixing” the front door (can’t lock the front door and there still a gap) All in all, it was a good price for my money, but I’m glad that I’m leaving it was kind of creepy seeing the maintenance man just sitting in his car doing nothing. |
