Apartment Review for Mt. Ridge Apartments - Baltimore, MD

I lived here for 1 year and I watched the people that moved in. They seem to have low standards in who is accepted in as long as they have financial means. The person across from me was having a weekend party almost every week that lasted all night to morning. Trash and beer cans littered outside after the party. No seemed to want to complain in the building and I didn't want to be the one since I was a woman living alone. The maintenance does try to keep the common areas and grounds up though. There was at least three break ins that I knew of in that year. Rent was raised after that first year and all the improvement done was to carpet and paint the entry halls. Parking was terrible depending on when you came home. They provided extra parking but even that filled up. I gave my proper notice, left the apartment in good condition and moved out over 1 month ago. Still have not received my security deposit back. I know they have up to 3 months, but I think they should be more prompt when they lost a good tenant. Rent is about the cheapest around, but no real amenities except for the laundry facilities and all apartment complexes have those. There is no ac, pool, recreation area of no kind except for some lawn and trees. If you need something fast, fairly cheap and easy to get accepted, then this is what works. Otherwise I don't recommend.
