I lived here when I was a college student and could not afford a better place. Where do I begin? At first it didn't seem too bad, then my car was broken into. It continued to happen - 5 times in 4 years. So did the neighbors' cars. One time the cops showed up on my door step and told me my car was stolen. There were large, scary men hanging out behind the dumpsters smoking weed on a regular basis. We also had regular visitors - dumpster divers. Be careful what you throw away, like personal information. Then the mice started. I called the management to complain multiple times, but they refused to help. It got to a point where half my shoes were chewed up, my clothes were pissed on and there was mouse poo everywhere. The traps did not help. My next door neighbors apartment was broken into and robbed - just before they got evicted. My downstairs neighbors did not like that I had to go up and down the stairs coming and going - I lived on the second floor. They must have expected me to sprout wings and flutter up instead. I'm sure I can think of other things, but I think that's sufficient to give anyone a good idea.
